Medical Director

Job Summary

Collaborating with senior medical staff and cross-functional teams, the full-time Medical Director will drive clinical strategy, design, and execution of clinical trials, focusing on advancing the clinical pipeline from IND to proof of concept and registration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute early clinical development plans to test key translational hypotheses for Relay Tx medicines
• Write clinical sections of key documents and manage drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities for ongoing trials
• Provide expert medical review of clinical data and maintain compliance and ethical standards in clinical trials

Required qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or other advanced degree with 5+ years of clinical development experience in oncology
• Experience with solid tumors, preferably in breast oncology
• Familiarity with clinical trial design, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans
• Experience working with investigative sites and clinical trial personnel
• A dynamic team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
