Medical Director

Job Summary

Providing scientific and medical direction, the remote Medical Director will collaborate with senior medical staff to integrate clinical insights into client strategies while training junior agency staff and ensuring the accuracy of medical content.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain expert understanding of clients' product prescribing information and monitor relevant disease categories for updates
• Develop actionable scientific and clinical insights for medical strategy and assist in market research plans
• Oversee creative deliverables to ensure alignment with medical insights and provide ongoing training for internal staff

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD or MD preferred; PharmD may be considered)
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare communications, medical education, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience translating scientific data into presentations and live presentations to diverse audiences
• Authorship in peer-reviewed publications or presentations at major scientific/medical conferences preferred
• Understanding of biochemical mechanisms, clinical research, and pharmaceutical marketing compliance
