Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Advocacy and Support - Medical Director for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct coverage reviews based on individual member plan benefits and coverage policies
- Document clinical review findings and outcomes in compliance with policies
- Engage with providers in peer-to-peer discussions as needed
Required Qualifications:
- M.D, D.O., or M.B.B.S degree
- Board certification approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties
- Active unrestricted medical license in Texas, North Carolina, or Arizona
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
- Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine
