Medical Director, Clinical Product

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative healthcare technology, the remote Medical Director, Clinical Product will lead clinical product development, translate clinical needs into actionable software requirements, and advocate for clinician users to enhance patient care outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical product development by serving as a key clinical voice across cross-functional teams, ensuring features reflect real-world practice
• Translate complex clinical workflows and documentation needs into clear product requirements for software development
• Establish pre-launch clinical QA standards and validation processes to ensure new tools are intuitive, safe, and efficient for clinicians

Required qualifications

• Active MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related primary care field
• At least 10 years of direct patient care experience in primary care settings, preferably in community-based practices
• Proven track record (3+ years) in health technology product integration, EHR optimization, or clinical informatics
• Demonstrated clinical leadership ability to guide non-clinical teams toward sound clinical decisions
• Decisive mindset with a focus on execution and accountability in high-performance environments
