Medical Director, Clinical Research

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director, Clinical Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads execution of research programs to meet clinical development objectives and manage reports
• Acts as the clinical functional head, providing scientific contributions to cross-department teams
• Develops strategies for scientific communications and regulatory documents while managing operational aspects of the team

Required Qualifications

• An MD is required; an advanced degree (PhD) is a plus
• A minimum of 2 years of oncology clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience is required
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements for oncology clinical trials is required
• Experience in protocol development, medical review, and oversight of study conduct is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, is required
