Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Clinical Advocacy and Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physician support to Enterprise Clinical Services operations for clinical review of service requests
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement and maintain clinical and operational processes related to benefit coverage and quality improvement
• Ensure appropriate and cost-effective quality medical care is delivered to members through collaboration with healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Active unrestricted medical license
• Board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
• At least 3 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
• Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
