Job Summary
Leading content development for multiple projects, the full-time salaried Medical Director, Market Access will ensure high-quality, medically accurate content while collaborating cross-functionally and liaising with clients in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Independently develop strategic and medically accurate content for various medical communications resources across multiple therapeutic areas
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that meets client objectives and review project briefs and timelines
- Supervise medical writers, establish personal development plans, and provide feedback while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in life sciences or English with relevant experience in a pharmaceutical agency or medical communications company
- 5 - 7 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry
- Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style and strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for various managed care audiences
