Medical Director (MD License Required)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and input to the clinical team throughout the product development process
• Ensure effective flow of tasks related to medical policy creation and validation
• Act as a clinical liaison to medical policy teams at current customers

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO with at least 8 years of clinical experience
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle roles including Utilization Management
• Prior experience in healthcare information technology and cross-functional teams is preferred
• Deep knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and relevant regulations is advantageous
• Experience with payer medical policy teams and peer-to-peer conversations is a plus
