Medical Director - Neurology
Job Summary
To lead and grow a therapeutic portfolio, the full-time Medical Director - Neurology will provide medical oversight for clinical trials, shape strategic initiatives in cell and gene therapy, and foster cross-organizational collaboration while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive growth of a therapeutic area portfolio through medical and clinical development expertise and oversight of awarded clinical trials
- Participate in the lifecycle of clinical projects from early engagement to execution, including protocol review and medical support for regulatory issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and sponsors to develop innovative, patient-centered solutions for clinical development projects
Required qualifications
- Board-certified physician in chosen area of medical specialization
- Medical degree from an accredited school
- At least 3 years of clinical research or clinical development experience
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial design, and regulatory processes
- Previous experience in a CRO or industry role preferred
