Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director, Patient Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific leadership within the pharmacovigilance function
• Engage cross-functional internal workstreams and provide clinical input to clinical trial design and risk management
• Lead clinical safety sections of regulatory documents and perform post-marketing surveillance and regulatory reporting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• MD, D.O. or non-US equivalent required
• Residency training and board certification highly preferred
• 2-4 years of prior experience in pharmacovigilance in an industry setting
• Experience working with public health agencies highly preferred
• Clinical practice experience highly preferred
