Job Summary

Leading scientific strategy and content delivery, the full-time Medical Director, Publications will develop and execute publication strategies while providing scientific direction across medical affairs deliverables, working remotely within the US or Canada and requiring alignment with eastern US hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute publication strategies aligned with client objectives and broader medical affairs goals
• Provide scientific direction for medical affairs deliverables and translate clinical data into clear narratives
• Serve as a senior scientific contact for clients, guiding content priorities and building trusted relationships

Required qualifications

• Degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in publications, medical affairs, or medical communications
• Strong command of publication ethics, journal/congress requirements, and evidence dissemination best practices
• Ability to lead scientific content across various medical affairs materials
• Demonstrated strength in publications with experience in broader medical affairs deliverables preferred
