Medical Director, Value-Based Care

Job Summary

To enhance value-based healthcare delivery, the full-time Medical Director, Value-Based Care will develop clinical strategies and workflows, manage relationships with stakeholders, and drive performance excellence remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and drive clinical outcomes across all contracts within the portfolio, aligning with national strategy leadership
• Serve as a national Clinical Champion, promoting value-based care performance and influencing best practices among partner practices
• Represent the clinical voice in strategic workgroups, providing leadership and insight to enhance Aledade's clinical resources and initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) with residency in an adult primary care specialty
• 2+ years of direct clinical experience with a focus on quality improvement and population health
• 5+ years of experience as a medical director or clinical strategy lead in partnership with hospitals and health systems
• Board Certified in specialty (e.g., ABFM)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate activities to meet deadlines within assigned markets
