Medical Director with Active License

Job Summary

Providing oversight of clinical programs, the full-time remote Medical Director with Active License will lead medical and scientific aspects of clinical studies, ensuring patient safety and timely delivery of clinical deliverables while collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical development and ensure timely delivery of clinical deliverables while supporting patient safety
• Act as the primary medical expert for assigned studies, monitoring progress and leading data review and analyses
• Contribute to regulatory documents and cross-functional clinical development plans, ensuring alignment throughout clinical phases

Required qualifications:

• MD required; Ph.D. and/or board certification in psychiatry preferred
• Active medical license desirable
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Medical Director in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in psychiatry drug development; psychogeriatric or neurodegeneration experience is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and lead cross-functional teams
