Medical Director with State License

Job Summary

Leading clinical strategy and managing a team of Clinical Leads, the full-time Medical Director with State License will oversee clinical quality and performance while participating in direct patient care and a 1-in-2 rotating on-call schedule, all in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the medical group President to execute clinical vision and manage a team of Clinical Leads, ensuring accountability for performance standards
• Implement quality assurance programs and clinical standards while monitoring clinical outcomes and patient safety metrics
• Provide direct patient care during high-demand periods and participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support clinical operations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted medical license in all 50 states plus D.C
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an equivalent primary care specialty
• 10+ years of clinical practice experience as a primary care physician
• 5-7+ years of people leadership or clinical supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Expert-level familiarity with EHRs, remote monitoring tools, and asynchronous communication platforms
