Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Analyst, Medical Economics - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Extracts and analyzes data to support executive decision-making and identify trends in medical care costs
• Collaborates with various teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
• Designs reports to monitor health plan performance and drives innovation for cost reduction initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of healthcare analytics and/or medical economics experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, health care management, or a related field
• Demonstrated understanding of Medicaid and Medicare programs or other healthcare plans
• Experience in analyzing financial, operational, and utilization metrics in healthcare
• Proficiency in data management and building dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau
