Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Economics Lead Analyst-Network Strategy will lead financial modeling for provider contract renegotiations, evaluate contract performance, and deliver actionable insights to support network strategy and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling to support provider contract renegotiations, including unit cost analysis and scenario modeling
• Develop pre-negotiation targets and guardrails based on internal performance and external benchmarks
• Translate analytics into clear, actionable insights for high-stakes provider negotiations and executive dashboards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5-8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial, medical economics, or network strategy
• Strong understanding of provider contracting and reimbursement methodologies
• Proven ability to build financial models and translate results into business decisions
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
