Medical Economics Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting value-based contracts, the full-time remote Medical Economics Analyst will perform analyses, validate data, and assist in reporting and dashboard development to inform cost, utilization, quality, and performance metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Perform standard analyses for value-based contracts, identifying trends and variances in medical cost and quality metrics
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, ensuring data accuracy and completeness through validation and reconciliation
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Excel, communicating key findings to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare, economics, or data analytics
- Experience with SQL and data analysis in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with value-based care models and healthcare datasets
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau or Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
