Medical Economist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Economist to improve clinical outcomes and cost efficiency for the Medicare Advantage population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze clinical interventions and their impact on member outcomes and quality measures
• Conduct detailed analyses of medical utilization and support care management strategies
• Identify high-impact opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce costs through data analysis

Required Qualifications:

• 3-7+ years of experience in medical economics, healthcare analytics, or outcomes research
• Master's degree or PhD in Health Economics, Public Health, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage payment and quality programs
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL
• Experience evaluating care management or population health programs
