Medical Editor with MD or DO License
Job Summary
Seeking passionate physicians, the fully remote Medical Editor with MD or DO License will review and revise USMLE-style Step 1 and Step 2 practice questions and related topic summaries while ensuring content accuracy and educational value.
Key responsibilities
- Review and revise questions and topic summaries to meet product guidelines, ensuring educational value and readability
- Ensure assessment items are accurate and clinically realistic to prepare students for Step 1 and Step 2 exams
- Collaborate with the medical illustration team to create or collect relevant images and figures
Required qualifications
- Terminal medical degree (MD or DO) is required
- Successful completion of USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams is required
- Board certification in a US-approved specialty or completion of at least two years of ACGME-accredited residency training is required
- Prior medical question writing experience is a plus
- Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week of asynchronous work is required
