Medical Excellence Operations Director

Job Summary

As a key member of the Medical Affairs Leadership Team, the remote Sr. Director, Medical Excellence & Operations will develop and execute the vision and strategy for Medical Affairs operations, ensuring high performance and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Medical Excellence & Operations strategy aligned with Medical Affairs vision and business objectives
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the VP of Medical Affairs, providing insights and risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with alliance partners to align Medical Affairs priorities and ensure operational readiness for product milestones

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or leadership training is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Proven experience in building and scaling Medical Affairs operational capabilities in regulated environments
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and vendor oversight
• Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
