Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 (PB).

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research and status unpaid or denied claims
• Contact payers to secure payment of claims and write appeal letters as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least three years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow up
• Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites
• Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party payer billing practices
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives and work effectively with teams
