Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Collector.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with insurance companies to determine the cause of denial or non-payment of claims
• Initiate actions to prepare and submit documentation needed to resolve claims issues
• Follow up until payment is received or all recourse is exhausted, maintaining records as per company policies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment focused on insurance billing and collections
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare insurance, including managed care and reimbursement methodologies
• Understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Ability to work from home with necessary technical requirements met
