Medical Insurance Collector

Job Summary

To support the resolution of insurance and patient receivables, the full-time Medical Insurance Collector will manage account follow-up for top dollar accounts, working remotely within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve payer requests and discrepancies by working with patients and guarantors to expedite claims
• Contact insurance companies regarding timely payment issues and manage top dollar insurance pools
• Review and escalate identified issues from explanation of benefits (EOB) and payer correspondence to ensure prompt claim resolution

Required qualifications

• At least one year of related experience, preferably in healthcare
• Relevant education may substitute for experience requirements
