Medical Insurance Collector

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Medical Insurance Collector will manage account follow-up and resolution of insurance and patient receivables while working remotely within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims and follow up on insurance pools
• Review EOBs and payer correspondence, escalating issues as necessary to expedite claim resolution
• Document actions taken on patient accounts and work with patients to resolve discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in healthcare or relevant education
• Previous experience with insurance follow-up is preferred
• High-speed internet connection (25 MB Download and 15 MB Upload) is required; Wi-Fi is not permitted
• Ability to work uninterrupted during scheduled shifts, excluding breaks
