Medical Insurance Collector

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team, the full-time Medical Insurance Collector will work from home, managing account follow-up and resolution of insurance and patient receivables while ensuring compliance with productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims and work through insurance pools
• Review EOBs, remits, and payer correspondence, escalating issues as necessary for expedited resolution
• Document actions taken on accounts and collaborate with patients to resolve discrepancies and pending claims

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience, preferably in healthcare, or relevant education may substitute for experience
• Previous experience with insurance follow-up is preferred
• High-speed internet connection (25 MB Download and 15 MB Upload) is required; Wi-Fi is not permitted
• Able to work uninterrupted during assigned shifts, excluding breaks and lunch
