Medical Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Follow-Up Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and follow-up on outstanding insurance claims for timely resolution
• Research and resolve claim denials and underpayments through corrections and appeals
• Maintain accurate records of account activity and support process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with commercial or third-party insurance claims and medical billing
• Understanding of insurance terminology, forms, and coding (CPT & ICD)
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Certificates or Medicare certification are a plus, but not required
