Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Specialist-REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors delinquent accounts and performs collection duties
• Reviews payment postings for accuracy and resolves billing issues
• Contacts patients to secure past due balances and answers billing inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two (2) years of medical billing and payment experience required
• Knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing required
• Knowledge of state and federal collections guidelines
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying the position
