Medical Lab Scanning Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Lab Scanning Assistant (All Shifts).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for digitization by logging incoming glass slides and verifying barcode functionality
• Execute quality control by reviewing patient information and barcode data for accuracy
• Coordinate lab workflow by organizing slides and transitioning prepared materials to technicians for processing

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a medical, laboratory, or high-volume data entry environment
• Strong knowledge of quality control activities and attention to data accuracy
• Proven ability to manage specimen organization and use barcode scanning technology
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Active T1 Investigation clearance
