Medical Laboratory Scientist License Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Central Staffing Office - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure specimen integrity by evaluating and solving problems related to specimen collection and processing
• Facilitate laboratory operations, troubleshoot outstanding tests, and manage supplies efficiently
• Participate in training and competency assessment of staff while adhering to quality control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field required
• 1 year of relevant experience within the last three years required
• Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program required
• MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification required within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in a medical laboratory preferred
