Medical Legal Consultant

Job Summary

To support the evolution of MedChron into a cutting-edge Case Intelligence System, the part-time Medical Legal Consultant will audit AI outputs, identify edge cases, and annotate datasets, ensuring clinical accuracy and enhancing the technology's effectiveness in legal applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit AI-generated medical chronologies and summaries for clinical and legal reasoning accuracy
• Identify and document edge cases where AI outputs may be clinically flawed
• Annotate real medical records to create high-quality datasets for testing AI models

Required qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in personal injury case preparation, medical-legal consulting, or clinical documentation review
• Background as a Personal Injury Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Nurse Case Manager, or similar role
• Expert-level familiarity with reviewing medical records and navigating provider documentation standards
• Strong understanding of medical billing practices, including EOBs and CPT codes
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle clinical anomalies
