Medical Librarian

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Librarian.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in computer searches, inter-library loans, cataloging, reference, acquisitions, and system development and maintenance
• Provide reference, research, and document delivery services to support information needs of patrons
• Administer and maintain library collection, ensuring it meets the educational and research-related needs of healthcare providers and associates

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
• Master's degree from an accredited university or college with 5-10 years medical or academic health librarian experience preferred
• Experience with budget management and collection development
• Expert health and/or medical research experience, including systematic search health database skills
• Demonstrated virtual service and electronic content management experience
