Job Summary
Managing the full lifecycle of state license applications for healthcare practitioners, the full-time Medical Licensing Specialist will oversee the licensing program, ensuring timely and accurate submissions while collaborating closely with clinicians and state boards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the licensing program for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across all U.S. states and jurisdictions
- Collaborate with practitioners to prepare and submit new state license applications, maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Research and adapt internal resources to reflect changing state licensure requirements, while building strong relationships with state board analysts
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare-specific licensing experience with Physician and Nursing boards
- Experience in building processes, project management, and program delivery
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information adhering to strict confidentiality standards
- Experience communicating complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences across different functions
