Key Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and settle moderately complex claims in the Medical Malpractice specialty area
• Manage the full life cycle of assigned claims files and conduct thorough analyses and investigations
• Negotiate settlements with clients and various parties involved in the claims process

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma and 5 years of related claims experience required
• Prior experience in the applicable specialty claims area or ability to handle unique claims issues
• Must be appropriately licensed or able to obtain necessary licenses/certifications
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with claims and business software
