Medical Monitor Trainer
Job Summary
To support early-phase oncology clinical trials, the contract Medical Monitor Trainer will provide training for scientific and medical directors, oversee medical monitoring activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead live and virtual training sessions on clinical data review and medical monitoring best practices
- Provide oversight on safety, tolerability, and efficacy data while reviewing serious adverse events and identifying emerging safety signals
- Develop and maintain Medical Monitoring Plans and collaborate with biostatisticians and CRO partners to address clinical issues
Required qualifications
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in clinical development and medical monitoring within oncology trials
- Strong hands-on experience with EDC systems and data review platforms like Spotfire or J-Review
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor medical leadership on complex clinical concepts
- Solid understanding of clinical trial operations and safety reporting protocols
