Job Summary

To support efficient patient care, the remote Medical Order Specialist will review and process changes to existing patient orders, validate prescriptions, and verify insurance coverage while ensuring compliance and timely shipment of medical supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process changes to existing patient orders for accuracy and compliance
• Validate prescription accuracy and determine the need for updated documentation
• Verify insurance coverage and handle authorization submissions and follow-ups

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare administrative, order processing, or insurance experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in home health, DME, or enteral services preferred
• Knowledge of insurance authorization processes is a plus
