Medical Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Medical Payment Posting Specialist will accurately process healthcare payments and adjustments remotely while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record electronic and manual insurance and patient payments
• Read and interpret complex Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for proper payment distribution
• Balance daily payments and adjustments, ensuring posting accuracy through account reconciliation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of direct medical payment posting experience
• Experience with JP Morgan Lockbox or similar payment processing systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and healthcare insurance processes
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or specialized billing software is highly preferred
