Medical Procedure Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient care, the full-time Medical Procedure Scheduler will manage scheduling for tests and procedures, obtain pre-certifications, and ensure accurate insurance information while working remotely within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for ancillary, surgical, and medical testing/procedures using the scheduling module
• Obtain and enter pre-certification/authorization numbers and accurate insurance information
• Maintain communication with physician office staff and registration teams to ensure readiness for patient services

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related experience, preferably in medical procedure scheduling
• Must live within a 60-mile radius of an HCA Healthcare Hospital
• Wired high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 MB download and 15 MB upload speeds
