Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Record Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Review and categorize medical records for pre-visit chart preparation
Identify and transfer pertinent lab results and key evidence for quality gap closure into the patient's medical record
Summarize patient trends and communicate findings to clinicians via EMR notes

Required Qualifications

Associates degree, Medical Record Certification (i.e. AHIMA), or equivalent
3+ years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry with health information and/or direct medical record review
Comfort with multiple technology platforms, including various EMRs
Experience in pre-visit planning is preferred
Experience with athenahealth and GSuite is preferred
