Medical Records Abstractor QA Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance the quality of medical abstraction services, the full-time remote Medical Records Abstractor QA Trainer will conduct training sessions, audit team performance, and collaborate with leadership to improve processes and support team members in their roles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee team operations to ensure service level obligations are met and efficiency is maintained
• Conduct training programs and maintain documentation of training and quality discussions
• Review electronic patient schedules and cross-check patient demographics for accuracy

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in clinical data abstraction and coding
• Prior experience in a QA or Training role is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical record systems
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong interest in advancing into leadership roles
