Medical Records Review Specialist

Job Summary

As a critical member of the team, the full-time Medical Records Review Specialist will evaluate patients' medical charts to assess surrogate eligibility, ensuring accuracy and completeness while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patients' complete medical charts to assess eligibility for surrogacy candidacy
• Identify red flags or exclusionary criteria that would prevent a candidate from becoming a surrogate
• Document and summarize clinical findings within HIPAA-compliant, secure software

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in women's health (e.g., OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum)
• Prior experience reviewing or working with medical records or patient charts
• Strong command of medical terminology and clinical documentation
• English proficiency at C1 level or above for precise interpretation of charts
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations
