Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Records Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Complete analysis and reanalysis of medical records accurately and timely
Manage work queues for missing documentation and follow up with relevant departments and providers
Document workflows and report issues not complying with facility or corporate standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations preferred
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred
CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid)
Entry-level position; prior experience in medical records is a plus
