Job Summary

Processing release of information requests efficiently, the full-time remote ROI Medical Records Specialist will ensure accuracy while safeguarding patient privacy and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Completes release of information requests by retrieving and transmitting medical records accurately
• Validates requests and authorizations, performing quality checks to maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Provides excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and proactively identifying concerns

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) required
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
• Strong computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to type 50 words per minute
• Proven customer satisfaction skills and ability to multi-task
