Job Summary

Processing release of information requests efficiently, the full-time remote ROI Medical Records Specialist will ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete release of information requests by retrieving and scanning medical records accurately
• Validate requests and authorizations according to established procedures
• Perform quality checks to assure accuracy and confidentiality of released information

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
• Strong computer software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to type 50 words per minute
• Proven customer satisfaction skills and ability to multi-task
