Medical Review Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Review Specialist, remote position in the EST/CST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical bills and documentation according to guidelines and company policies
• Determine the relationship and necessity of treatment related to covered injuries
• Provide customer service regarding bill reviews and make reimbursement recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Evaluation and Management (E&M)
• 1+ years of medical coding experience, preferably in CPT and ICD-10
• 1+ years of experience in Medical Bill Repricing is preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare is preferred
• Certification as a Professional Coder is a plus but not required
