Medical Scheduler - North Carolina

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Scheduler in Psych Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate facility and patient level scheduling for all providers in assigned facilities
• Ensure Care Teams have scheduled routine and necessary visits for patients
• Assist with communication and problem-solving regarding patient scheduling and transitions of care

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 2 years of telephone or customer service experience required
• 1 year of prior healthcare scheduling or medical-related experience required
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws required
• Excellent PC skills and strong Excel skills preferred
