Medical Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary

To drive operational success in a remote setting, the full-time Recurring Care Specialist will coordinate nursing care by interfacing with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients while managing scheduling tasks and maintaining relationships throughout the patient lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize proprietary technology and third-party platforms to schedule nursing visits and manage up to 40 Zendesk tickets and 30 inbound calls per shift
• Schedule and confirm 10-30 patient visits per shift, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication of care details
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and maintain effective relationships with specialty pharmacies and nursing partners

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Highly organized with strong time management skills to handle competing priorities
• Tech-savvy and able to navigate multiple platforms efficiently
