Medical Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Remote Recurring Care Specialist, the candidate will coordinate nursing care by interfacing with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling while managing high volumes of communication and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits for patients using proprietary technology and third-party platforms
• Manage approximately 40 Zendesk tickets and answer up to 30 inbound calls per shift to coordinate care
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Highly organized with strong time management skills to handle competing priorities
• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple platforms simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically
