Medical Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

To drive operational success in a remote environment, the full-time Recurring Care Specialist will coordinate nursing care by managing scheduling, communication, and relationships with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients while ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits for patients using proprietary technology and third-party platforms
• Manage approximately 40 Zendesk tickets and answer up to 30 inbound calls per shift, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track data, share insights, and identify opportunities for process improvement

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically
• Highly organized with strong time management skills to handle competing priorities
• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple platforms simultaneously
