Medical School Admissions Coach

Job Summary

Supporting a diverse cohort of medical school applicants, the part-time Medical School Admissions Coach will provide personalized advising, manage application deadlines, and conduct regular advising sessions remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with students and families to identify needs and goals for the college admissions journey
• Manage a cohort of medical school applicants, providing end-to-end counseling and support tailored to individual circumstances
• Guide students through the writing process for personal statements and provide interview preparation

Required qualifications

• Graduated from or worked at a top 50 university or top 20 liberal arts college
• In-depth knowledge of the U.S. medical school admissions process, including AMCAS/AACOMAS systems
• Experience in an educational or academic support role
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and students effectively
• Commitment to work with students for one year or through the admission cycle
