Job Summary

To support aspiring medical students, the part-time Medical School Admissions Coach will manage a cohort of applicants, providing personalized advising and guidance through the admissions process while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular advising sessions with students and their families to assess needs and goals
• Manage a minimum of five applicants per cycle, ensuring timely support and feedback on application materials
• Research and provide tailored advice on medical school options and application strategies

Required qualifications

• Graduated from or worked at a top 50 university or top 20 liberal arts college
• In-depth knowledge of the U.S. medical school admissions process, including AMCAS/AACOMAS systems
• Familiarity with the broader landscape of U.S. undergraduate and medical education
• Experience in an educational or academic support role
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain effective communication with students
